GROUP SINGING

Singing regularly is the key to developing vocal strength.  Daily practice is important but if you're only singing to your bathroom mirror, it's impossible to determine whether you're making progress.
Singing with a group is the best way to measure your progress and it also allows you to learn with - and from - others. It means that you not only build your vocal strength but you also develop your vocal skill and dexterity.
Other benefits of singing in a group are:   *opportunity to make new friends   ~ *sharing a common interest with like-minded people ~ *developing a sense of connection with others and the community  ~ *sharing the special joy of raising your voice in a body of notes to create magic  ~  one voice can be lonely but there is strength and power in many voices working together

Heart of Erin sings on the Lake
Currently, Maureen coaches 2-3 community chorus groups including:  Nova Pop Chorus{Pop songs across the decades}; Heart of Erin {traditional and contemporary Celtic songs];     What makes her group/s different is that she not only Directs but also Coaches her members.
New singers are always welcome and whilst experience is not necessary, novice singers are steered to a starter group first.
